Donald Trump Must Go Now: Invoke the 25th Amendment

Trump Supporters Riot the U.S. Capitol 1/6/2021

Update: Four deaths were spawned by the attempted coup at the U.S. Capitol yesterday. Donald Trump, Ted Cruz, and Josh Hawley are complicit and culpable behind those deaths due to their deliberate false assertions regarding the election.

What happened today in Washington is precisely why I wrote the article below yesterday. As Trump becomes increasingly desperate and his psychosis deepens, there will only be more trouble and incidents to follow. Trump instigated and propagated the riot at the Capitol today by his rhetoric and his enablers. There are supporters of his still occupying the Capitol at this very moment and they have destroyed property inside. America, we are in a very, very dangerous place tonight.

Today someone was shot and killed inside the Capitol in today’s riot. I blame Ted Cruz and others for what happened today, far more than Donald Trump. Trump is a sociopath and does not know better, Cruz does. James Lankford – no need to bother condemning violence, when you are one of those who propagated. Cruz is to rotten, and too much Trump’s boy toy to say anything – but he really does not need to. His actions have said it all.

I am willing to admit I was wrong about Mike Pence; he chose not to violate the Constitution like those on the following list below. Also, don’t forget to give credit to those on the list for perpetuating the violence that ensued in Washington today. Their perpetuation of lies resulted in the death of a woman today – her blood will be on their hands.

  • Sens. Ted Cruz of Texas
  • Ron Johnson of Wisconsin
  • James Lankford of Oklahoma
  • Steve Daines of Montana
  • John Kennedy of Louisiana
  • Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee
  • Mike Braun of Indiana
  • Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming
  • Roger Marshall of Kansas
  • Bill Hagerty of Tennessee
  • Tommy Tuberville of Alabama
  • Kelly Loeffler of Georgia

Donald Trump and the list of senators above have invoked irreparable harm to the trust of the American people and our election system. They have clearly and willingly assaulted our democracy and violated our Constitution. Each and every one of them should resign. They have all violated their oath of office.

For the safety of Americans and our nation, it is time for Donald J. Trump to vacate the Oval Office before more damage is done, or before someone else gets killed. Trump does not care about human life; he does not care about the lives of his supporters or those dying from Covid. Donald Trump does not even care that Democrats won back the Senate today. The only thing that matters to him is remaining president; this despite the fact the election was the most secure in the history of America.

I am calling on the Senate and the House of Representatives to invoke the 25th Amendment immediately. This will mean Mike Pence would become president until Biden assumes office. I know Trump only has two weeks left; but that’s a lot of time for something to happen when you have someone psychotic as our president. Just look at what happened in one day.

Trump is not fit to lead; he never was but now he is incapable of leading and is placing our country in imminent danger. Donald Trump is the most destructive president in American history, and it is imperative that he is removed as president immediately. There is no time to delay – let your senators and representatives know that he must be removed as soon as possible.

Here is an excerpt from the 25th Amendment of our Constitution in case you’re interested:

Constitution of United States of America 1789 (rev. 1992)

Admenment XXV: Section 4

Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.

Thereafter, when the President transmits to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives his written declaration that no inability exists, he shall resume the powers and duties of his office unless the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive department or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit within four days to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office. Thereupon Congress shall decide the issue, assembling within forty-eight hours for that purpose if not in session. If the Congress, within twenty-one days after receipt of the latter written declaration, or, if Congress is not in session, within twenty-one days after Congress is required to assemble, determines by two-thirds vote of both Houses that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall continue to discharge the same as Acting President; otherwise, the President shall resume the powers and duties
