This is the Most Important Election in the History of America

This is the most important election ever in the history of America. We are at a crossroads; we have a choice to contribute to a potential autocratic ruler’s rise in power, or choose to preserve our democracy. Donald Trump has repeatedly thumbed his nose to our government processes and has a blatant disregard towards our Constitution. To vote for Donald Trump is to allow his breach of constitutional powers to remain unencumbered, and will very likely result in America becoming an autocratic nation. 

Donald Trump has repeatedly operated outside the bounds of our Constitution and even our legal system since taken office. Make no mistake - the foundation has already been laid by him and his administration. If America votes for Joe Biden, we will see a restoration of our democracy. Even if Biden is not your preferred choice, don’t you think saving our democracy is worth it?

Although we all have things we feel strongly about, sometimes life boils down to something far more basic; the choice between good and evil. I say this not to be dramatic – it is what it is (sorry Trump, I stole your coronavirus euphemism). There should be something inherent in all of us; a conscience that desires to do good, and an overall sense to avoid harming others. I do not particularly enjoy labeling a given person as good or evil, and although not many, there are people in this world who simply are evil. Donald Trump is one of them. 

He is a sociopath. A sociopath is incapable of caring about others. A sociopath who consistently engages in wrong behavior or evil acts has no conscience to connect to. Donald Trump knows full well what he is doing and he is as premeditated as it comes. He is without excuse - period. Being a sociopath is a very dangerous psychological condition for one to have as our president – and unbeknownst to many, it places our nation in a very precarious position. 

Any person can pay lip service to something; to a particular political party, to a socioeconomic group, to a given race, to the people they work with, to one’s family, or to the American public. You can even pay lip service to God, and deceive others around you or even yourself. As in most things in life, the proof will ultimately manifest in one way or another. Below is an example; see if you can identify who said the following (try not to look ahead for the answer):

Lord God, let us never hesitate or play the coward.

Even today I am not ashamed to say that, overpowered by stormy enthusiasm, I fell down on my knees and thanked Heaven from an overflowing heart for granting me the good fortune of being permitted to live at this time.

In these three decades, only love for my people and loyalty to my people have guided me in all my thoughts, actions, and life.  They gave me the strength to make the most difficult decisions, such as no mortal has yet had to face.  I have exhausted my time, my working energy, and my health in these three decades.  I believe today that my conduct is in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator."

Do you have an idea which world leader in history said this? The answer is Adolph Hitler.

The forces of evil will always beckon you to think only of yourself at the expense of other people. It wills always make your own needs paramount over the needs of everyone else. It will prompt you to disregard other’s feelings, disregard their beliefs, disregard their well being, and will always make you seek what a person can offer you, and never the other way around. 

Everyone in Donald Trump’s sphere is only present based upon what he or she can offer him. It is a zero sum analysis – if you have nothing to offer him, you are discarded with the trash. Ultimately, Trump is the only person to get something out of it. There is a cost to this. Not just in this world but the world to come. But at this very moment in America, that cost is here – right now. It is staring us in the face. But you have the power to do something about this before it is too late. 

Do you really want a president who has repeatedly referred to our veterans and those serving in the military as “losers” and “suckers?” Don’t the people who are putting their lives on the line for us deserve better than this? I am going to honest here – I was disheartened by the lack of outrage Americans exhibited when this story first broke in the news. I thought more Americans would have a visceral reaction to the vile, disparaging comments made by Trump. Our military and veterans deserve better than this.

Nevertheless, if you have a commander in chief who does not value the lives of those serving in the military and our veterans, how can you have confidence when he makes decisions that put our military in harm’s way? For Trump; the military are simply narcissistic appendages to him – they are in essence, an extension of himself. It is dangerous for a president to make life and death decisions when he holds a particular group of human beings in such low regard. 

Even if you are a Republican or Independent, if you vote for Joe Biden you will at least know you did what you could to preserve our democracy. An autocratic leader does not care whether you are a Democrat or a Republican. Consider the former members of the Trump administration lining the pathway towards the White House like road kill. Consider how Trump is willing to let his Republican constituents in blue states suffer, just because he does not like their democratic governors. Trump can care less who he hurt or damage in the process, in order to get his own selfish needs met.

Whether you realize it or not our democracy is truly at stake in this election. Have you really stop and thought for instance, about Trump’s premeditated assault and intricate planning to wage war on our voting system? Donald Trump hired Louis DeJoy back in June (who gave over $700,000.00 to his campaign), so he could undermine the mail in ballot system. DeJoy has come through for Trump big time, but not without totally crippling USPS. Trump did not experience any consequences from this, but the rest of America did. Trump placed his desire to win over Americans who rely on the postal service every day.

Mail across the entire country has slowed down by 70% to 85% in most areas; hurting small businesses, people’s mail ordered prescriptions and bills are arriving late, etc. Americans reliance on the United States Postal Service has been compromised significantly. All of this has been solely orchestrated in Trump’s effort to keep ballots from being counting in time for the election. It is also just one of many efforts to cast suspicion on mail in ballots. Republicans have even set up phony ballot collections boxes in California, and I would not be surprised elsewhere. There is no extreme Donald Trump will not resort to if it benefits him. 

Despite the hypocrisy of Trump voting by mail in Florida, our right to vote is under siege by his administration. By the way Trump voted twice which is against the law, but he has the impish William Barr to cover for him. No worries, huh, Trump? I am sure the only reason Donald Trump voted twice was for others to imitate him and likewise do the same.

For the rest of us commoners under his tutelage, don’t delude yourself into thinking you can vote twice and fail to be prosecuted. It is illegal, and both of your votes will be disqualified. Unlike Trump, you won’t have his corrupt Attorney General backing you up, and you will likely be prosecuted. This is an assault on our democracy and it clearly demonstrates Trump will go to any length to get what he wants. 

Consider the blatant disregard for the welfare of others by those who refuse to wear masks which is encouraged by this president. It is rotten, reprehensible, and downright dangerous for Donald Trump to make wearing a mask into a political statement. It is the height of negligence, and it is a depraved and selfish thing to do. It is placing people’s lives at risk, but Donald Trump does not care. He does not care whether you live or die. He is content either way. 

Who knows the number of people who would be alive today if only others around them had worn a mask. Perhaps you inadvertently killed someone by your refusal to wear a mask without even having a clue. Or maybe you could care less – like Trump. You may never know for now, but don’t’ worry - God will eventually apprise you. 

Donald Trump wants to water down the coronavirus at the expense of everyone and everything else. Remember, he deliberately hid the coronavirus from the American people early on. The United States just had the highest number of cases ever since the very beginning of the pandemic; 83,000 in a single day, Scientist and epidemiologist are now warning us the number is going to go much higher.

In a Journal of the American Medical Association, Michelle Mello of Stanford University made the following statement, "The public messaging from Washington about the seriousness of the problem has been neither consistent nor accurate, and I worry it may have led Americans to take fewer steps to prevent community transmission than we should have." In other words Trump’s efforts to hide the coronavirus from the American people set back our nation several valuable months behind in fighting the coronavirus. However, equally despicable, he has crippled America by his failure to fight Covid on a national level. 

Donald Trump has also intentionally fanned the flames of racial hatred to secure votes from white nationalists, and those Americans who harbor racial hatred in their hearts. Sadly, this holds true for a lot of people in this country. From a sociological perspective  he has made “being racist” more acceptable. He could care less about the animus he has created. He will do whatever he needs to do to acquire votes; regardless of the lives he destroy, or whether it results in splitting this country in half. He has no conscience, no morality; just a hedonistic instinct to remain president at all costs. 

The Republican Senate sold their souls to Donald Trump shortly after he assumed office. They abandoned their standard principles and protocols for operating in the Senate in the most shameless manner, and have completely thrown their integrity out the window. Our government has taken on a surreal appearance to me; almost reminiscent of the movie “Invasion of the Body Snatchers.”  It’s like well known politicians are now saying things so incredulous, that I am waiting for some kind alien morph to take over their bodies in front of my very eyes. 

John McCain would have not stood for such blatant corruption, as he did so in voting against the appeal of the Affordable Care Act. If you recall his reasoning; he was against the ACA alright, but abhorred the way the Republican Senate refused to share documents with their democratic colleagues necessary for them to vote. He took a stand against the unfairness and dismissal of ethics and procedures regarding standard Senate operations. John McCain found Mitch McConnell actions simply egregious and contrary to fair senate practices. 

So, it all boils down to what you will do. Life presents us time to time “do-overs,” but this is not one of them. This election will rip our democracy apart for years if Donald Trump is reelected. Our nation may take many years to recover when you consider the trajectory and course of other autocratic nations. It might be worth a glance at world history to see how dictatorships form. There is also the possibility we may never recover, if a well established autocratic leader stays in power (like Putin).

Donald Trump has taken on a role akin to being a king; but our nation is not a monarchy or a dictatorship – at least not quite yet. We have been watching the degradation of our democracy transpire in front of our very eyes for the last four years. This election is not only about winning back the soul of our nation, but preserving our democracy.  So please go vote, and when you do, count the cost. It could very well be our nation and our way of life. 

Donald Trump’s Depravity Has Reached an All Time Low

 

Donald Trump is a weak man who believes the only way he can win the election is by cheating and lying. He is petrified to the point he is now consumed and obsessed about winning 24/7. He is behaving like a desperate, psychologically unstable man who could go postal at any given moment. He is shameless in front of the eyes of the world, and has even resorted to begging for votes. It is a grotesque display of evil, ignorance, stupidity, and narcissism all rolled into one.   

When it comes to Donald Trump, there is always the possibility of reaching a new low. Do not ever think it’s out of the realm of possibility. Every time I think Trump has reached his absolute lowest threshold, he never fails to disappoint. If any other person behaved or said the things Trump has, I would conclude that individual could not have a conscience. I do not have to ask that question when it comes to Donald Trump; I already know he does not. He is a true sociopath, and there is nothing he would not do to acquire a vote. 

His lack of character and immorality is stomach churning at best. I lack the words to describe how pathetically vile and repulsive I find him. Lying, cheating, and plotting schemes are things he already has in his repertoire, but he has now surpassed his previous low by a milestone. There are so many lows on his part, but his handling of the coronavirus is the ultimate low. Donald Trump has used his own bout with the coronavirus to further downplay Covid-19 to the American people. His whole persona and statements falsely suggests to others the coronavirus is no big deal and is nothing to be afraid of. It is simply despicable.

Soon as he was released from Walter Reed Hospital, he made the following tweet: "Don't be afraid of Covid. Don't let it dominate your life." Let me tell you the honest truth - Donald Trump could care less whether you live or die. You do not matter to him – nobody does. I don’t care who you are; whether its’ his family, his staff, Mike Pence, whoever it is. He is a psychological disturbed man; a sociopath who has absolutely no business running our country. He is ironically the biggest threat to our nation.

Incidentally, I wonder if Walter Reed Hospital intravenously fed Donald Trump a high dose of narcissism before being discharged from the hospital. After Trump’s joy ride around the hospital to wave at enamored supporters outside, upon further contemplation he wanted to reward them with an extra treat. He decided when he was released from the hospital; he would walk out the door bent over, barely walking in front of his supporters. Then he was going to suddenly stand up, open up his suit, and reveal a Superman crest, so the crowd would howl and erupt into cheers. Yeah… he should be very thankful for whoever talked him out of that one. 

For Donald Trump the coronavirus was not such a big deal, especially considering the fact he received two experimental treatments that less than1% of all other patients with Covid have received. These two treatments are not available to the public, so it’s easy for him to minimize the virus to America in lieu of his preferential treatment.  He had the luxury of receiving these drugs while having the blood of over 220,000 Americans on his hands for downplaying the virus from the public. 

Epidemiologist estimated if Trump would have been forthright about the virus in the beginning, that 85-90% of those who died from the virus, would still be alive.  He inexcusably failed our country by not equipping our states with resources to adequately respond to the coronavirus right from the very start. 

Trump continues his rallies while thousands of his starry eyed, brainwashed supporters continue not to wear masks at his direction. They have drunk the Kool-Aide while failing to realize he is laughing at them behind their backs. Instead of saying to them be careful, he is still encouraging others not wear mask just to diminish the seriousness of Covid-19 in the public’s eye.

He failed so miserably on his watch that he wants to present the coronavirus akin to catching the flu. Trump is now starting to approach his cheering fans in the crowd, because he knows it is very unlikely he would catch Covid-19 again.  But do know this - there are people who have caught the coronavirus twice, and have done worse the second time around.

Trump continues to fail the United States by continuing to disseminate false information regarding Covid-19. In the past week at two of his rallies he has said, the coronavirus is starting to disappear and is making “a turn around the corner.” This is a disgusting lie! What he neglects to say is this “turn” is for the worse. Scientist and epidemiologists are now saying the virus is going to be the worst it has ever been in the next 6 to 12 weeks ahead.

Another new low, breaching Trump’s typical low threshold, stems from the escalation of his racist rhetoric during his campaign rallies. Trump has intentionally fanned the flames of racial division in this country; and has exponentially increased his bigoted rhetoric in this last stretch of his campaign. In an effort to secure white women voters in the suburbs, Trump in a recent rally stated if Biden gets his way, African refugees would relocate to their neighborhoods. It is a100% false; it is baseless, and is a complete fabrication. This is a deeply offensive racist lie and that has a very disparaging implication towards African Americans. 

In another all time low, Donald Trump has yet to denounce the 13 men who deliberately plotted to kidnapped and kill Michigan governor Gretchen Whitmer. Instead, what did he do concerning this white nationalist criminal group? He got out and tweeted once again “Liberate Michigan” – a rallying cry to his white nationalist supporters to create unrest. He criticized Whitmer for her efforts to keep the state of Michigan safe. He basically gave a wink and nod to his base and the assailants who planned to harm Whitmer. Any other president would have been impeached on that alone. 

Donald Trump deliberately continues to create animus among his base towards those public officials who are doing their best to counter the coronavirus. Many governors, city leaders, and scientists who are warning about the virus and putting measures in place to protect the public, quickly become enemies of Donald Trump. If this does not tell you this man does not give a rip about you, nothing ever will. 

Can you envision any other president in history who would fail to deliver a televised message condemning those who sought to kidnap Gretchen Whitmer? Without a doubt, any other president would have delivered a formal address to the nation against such a heinous, dangerous plot. Donald Trump is a president to only half of our nation; he is president only to the red states led by Republican governors. He is content to let those in blue states die, including his own Republican constituents who reside in them. 

If that is not enough, once again, here’s another one of his all time lows. Donald Trump refuses to condemn a mentally disturbed group called Q-Anon, who claims he is their savior. Q-Anon claims some Democrats and celebrities are pedophiles and are Satanist. Yet they endorse Donald Trump who has been charged legally for raping a 13 year girl several times through the U.S. court system. 

Does this make any sense? Why are they not outraged about Donald Trump, but instead attack Hillary Clinton and other celebrities who never been accused of pedophilia? Savannah Guthrie during the last debate showcased Trump’s failure to denounce this dangerous, fringe group, simply because they endorse him. This is unforgivable and reprehensible behavior on any government figure, but even more egregious from our own president.

I am not through yet - another all time low. Donald Trump made William Barr who is just as corrupt as he is to look into a phony conspiracy theory about President Barack Obama that came out of Q-Anon. Trump claimed President Obama had six Navy Seals killed – it is simply an evil lie. Any person in his or her right mind, whether democrat or republican, should know this is completely absurd. 

Trump does not stop there. He is also claiming Osama Bin Laden is still alive which is obviously untrue. Even the Navy Seal who killed Bin Laden criticized and denounced Trump’s reckless lie. Do you really want quite frankly, a deranged and malicious man like this to remain as your president? Donald Trump does not care how many lives he destroys, or who in essence he kills by his manipulative actions and lies. He is without exaggeration an extremely dangerous individual. 

Trump has stacked the deck by putting into place every unsavory person he can into positions that will benefit him. He hired Louis DeJoy, for example, to be the Post Master General in order to sabotage mailing ballots before the election. Trump could care less about how deliberate manipulation of the mail impacts Americans; from our businesses, to mailing letters, and even preventing us from receiving our prescriptions on time. If you are even partially sane, can’t you see the extent this man will go to get what he wants? He is unfit to be president, and is allowing and has allowed thousands die just to benefit him so he can get reelected. 

The lows are endless and there is no way for me to write about all of them. Some of Trump’s other dishonorable mentions includes; asking for help from Russia to meddle in the elections, failure to confront Putin over hiring mercenaries to kill U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan, separating children from their parents on the border and now the parents of 545 children cannot be found, sexually assaulting numerous women, calling our veterans "losers" and "suckers," mocking the disabled, extortion of Ukraine’s president, and so much more. 

Donald Trump is not the cause of the coronavirus, but he is the primary reason behind the deaths of 220,000 Americans. The cause of those deaths started from the top on a federal level; from his deliberate scheme to downplay the virus, to his administration refusing to help the governors of our states. This especially was the case in March and April, when the virus first manifested. Eventually, Trump got to the point he could no longer hide the coronavirus, but what is remarkable he is still it to this very day.

There is nothing presidential about Donald Trump; he is an embarrassment and joke to every nation across the globe. He simply does not care who or what he destroys in order to win the election. The death of over 220,000 Americans means absolutely nothing to him and it shows. He uses race to stoke fears into white Americans, and to fan the flames of racial hatred just in his effort to acquire votes. He has divided America and has ripped our country apart. There is no low that would be low enough for him in order to get reelected. 

His presidency will be reflected poorly in the history books. He and his administration will be characterized by the blood on his hands from failing to respond to the coronavirus on a national level. The history books will also reflect he was impeached by the House of Representatives; but the Republican Senate undeniably turned their heads away from his high crime and misdemeanors. And, history will show the current Republican Senate as his enablers, and how they allowed and ignored corruption under the Trump administration.

Donald Trump is an extremely dangerous man who continues to place our nation at grave risk every day. The death toll keeps on climbing, and Trump keeps denying; now over 210,000+ deaths. Trump will as be discussed as the U.S. president who intentionally sought to racially divide this country to serve his own personal interests. If he lucks out, however, he may have his name listed in the World Book of Guinness - for telling the most lies ever in the history of humankind. This will be Donald Trump’s legacy and how he will be remembered. 

Why I Question Supreme Court Nominee Amy Coney Barrett’s Integrity

 

There are basic psychological characteristics we as human beings share, although this is not always the case for everyone. Perhaps the most universal characteristic we share involves our conscience; the ability to discern right from wrong. A true sociopath like Donald Trump for example, is incapable of this and will not change. This is why it is dangerous to have someone like him as our president. For others, we make a choice pertaining to the actions we take on a consistent basis. Although there is a political component to this post, its emphasis is superseded by our choice to do what is right - or wrong. Our actions and attitudes lends to our overall character, or in other words – our integrity.

I had no doubt Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump had already handpicked Amy Coney Barrett well in advance of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s death. Statements McConnell made indicated he was waiting and excited about Ginsburg’s impending death, so he could stuff the court with another conservative justice. This mostly transpired after she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer a few months ago prior to her death. 

Although McConnell and Trump are no fans of each other; they are quite adept at joining together with the forces of evil to help reach their goals. Neither one cares much for the other, but they are more than happy to scratch each other’s back to get what they want. Reciprocity is expected, which is the sole core of their relationship. Such is the case here with the nomination of Amy Coney Barrett. I would like to touch further on Barrett’s actions which makes me question her integrity.

Integrity Issue #1- Her Knowledge of Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s Dying Wish

I first called Barrett’s integrity into check early on after Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s death. My conclusion was independent of her ultra conservative political stances, nor had I ever heard of her before. I did not know have a clue how conservative she was until the media started expounding upon her nomination. 

Justice Ginsburg had one request; one last wish on this earth before her death, and it was for her successor to be nominated after the election. Keep in mind; she did not know which candidate will win; Joe Biden or Donald Trump. She just knew it was right thing to do, but feared the Trump Administration’s would circumvent normal procedures. She was right. 

Amy Coney Barrett knew of Ginsburg’s dying wish. It is not like she is a helpless child that has to be obedient to the whims of Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump. She knew they had chosen her (in advance), and that was very unlikely to change. Yet, she fully embraced their plot to push her nomination through to the Supreme Court seat at the expense of Justice Ginsburg’s final request. 

It goes without saying both the consciences of McConnell and Trump dried up a long time ago, so they would be completely indifferent to the request of a dying human being. So many American revered and respected Ruth Bader Ginsburg. I would have thought Amy Coney Barrett would had honored such a request from Ginsburg – but it was obviously meaningless and immaterial to her as well. I can only speculate she did not feel confident enough in her own qualifications to simply wait until after the election – or she simply did not care. I am inclined to believe it was the latter.  

She became a knowing and willing participant in Senate Leader Mitch McConnell’s own “Operation Warp Speed” scheme. Donald Trump nominated her at the behest of McConnell; not realizing he is the Senate Majority Leader’s unwitting idiot to accomplish whatever he wants to get done. Trump did not know who Barrett was, like he does not know who the conservative federal judges are that he appoints – he is told who to pick by Fox News and Republican Senate. Barrett had already been assured of the Senate’s backing which goes without saying. 

Barrett could had spoken up and said she rather would wait for the nomination process until after the election – after all, it would only be the right thing to do. At the very least, Trump would had been in office into mid January. She did not possess the decency to do that, or the proclivity to honor the last wishes of Ruth Bader Ginsburg. By the way, all the polls showed most Americans believe the right thing to do was to wait until after the election before nominating someone to the Supreme Court. 

Integrity Issue #2 – Her Knowledge There Was Only Six Weeks to the Election

There is no way Amy Coney Barrett was not knowledgeable about the normal protocols and procedures to selecting a Supreme Court nominee. She surely knew the process should not commence this close to a presidential election. I cannot fathom for a minute she did not see the video of Mitch McConnell castrating the nomination process for President Barack Obama’s Supreme Court nominee Merrick Garland, after the death of Justice Antonin Scalia in 2016. At that time, it was a full 8 months before the next election, when Mitch McConnell said the following: “The American people should have a voice in the selection of their next Supreme Court Justice. Therefore, this vacancy should not be filled until we have a new president." 

Mitch McConnell is a repugnant hypocrite! Instead, he is now rushing a Supreme Court nominee after Ginsburg’s death with less than 3 weeks to the election. Mitch McConnell is absolutely shameless and his word is meaningless. If you are voting for Mitch McConnell in Kentucky you should know he is a liar and a con – he will always put his agenda first over anyone or anything. In many ways, he is just like Trump. His is morally bankrupt, and in truth is an evil man solely on a quest for political power. By the way, have you seen the video of McConnell laughing in the face of Amy McGrath during the last debate? I suggest you watch it. 

Only six weeks after Ruth Bader Ginsburg death, McConnell and Trump are rushing the nomination of Amy Coney Barrett through the Senate. Do you seriously think Barrett was not privy to what Mitch McConnell said regarding Merrick Garland’s nomination? Do you seriously think she has not seen the video of Lindsey Graham taken the same hypocritical stance McConnell did? Yet Amy Coney Barrett has wholeheartedly joined in their collusion. This is not integrity by any shape of the word.

Integrity Issue #3 – The American People Expressed Their Desire to Wait Until After the Election

Since Justice Ginsburg’s death, there have been a good number of polls; all of them reflecting most Americans felt the Supreme Court nomination should be on hold until after the election. Nevertheless, a prideful Mitch McConnell and a woefully ignorant Donald Trump rushed to get the nomination of Amy Coney Barrett through. Don’t think for a moment Trump understands the legal ramifications of this, because he does not understand issues of governance or have the faculties to process them. McConnell and Barrett do, however; and they made the choice to give the bird to the American people to gratify their own self-interest. 

Integrity Issue #4 – The White House Rose Garden Ceremony for Amy Coney Barrett

Out of all of the integrity issues with Barrett, this one hits me the hardest. As you likely know by now, the White House Rose Garden ceremony for Amy Coney Barrett resulted in a super spreader event of the coronavirus. Most everyone did not wear a mask (including Barrett and Trump) and there was no social distancing or effort to do so. This ceremony was extremely negligent and should never have happened in the midst of a deadly pandemic. Everyone in attendance thumbed their nose at Covid-19, and like many self-centered, self-absorbed Americans, did not give a rip if anyone else became infected. 

That includes Amy Coney Barrett. She could have said she preferred there be no ceremony at this time, because such a gathering could result in a potential Covid outbreak. Not only she cared less about this, she had the coronavirus back in the summer and knew it would be very unlikely for her to catch it again. I guess in her mind, as long as she deemed herself safe, it was all that mattered. How else can you explain her indifference to the fact this crowd could spawn an outbreak, and wow, did it ever! Chris Christie is truly lucky to be alive, and over 27 other individuals in attendance contracted Covid-19. This spectacle was absolutely shameless and epitomizes selfishness and recklessness on a whole new level.

Integrity Issue #5– Barrett Refuses to Recues Herself if the Supreme Court has to Decide Election Results

No surprise on this one, other than the fact she finally decided to answer a question for a change during the Senate hearings. If Donald Trump loses the election, everyone now knows he will not accept the results. Trump, his administration, the Republican Senate, William Barr and other members of the Republican Party have already laid the groundwork to contest the election results. 

From casting suspicion on mail in ballots, to setting up unofficial decoy drop off boxes in California, they have left no stone unturned. They have even removed many legitimate ballet boxes in areas heavily Democrat; leaving the area with only one drop-off box, get this - per county. That is outrageous, malicious, and wicked – it is an effort to stymie the votes of millions of Americans. The stage is set. Amy Coney Barrett has given Trump clear indication she has his back, and make no mistake, Donald Trump expects nothing less. 

So, I draw my conclusions about Amy Coney Barrett’s lack of integrity based on her actions being nominated to the Supreme Court. Her willingness to go along with Mitch McConnell and the Trump Administration’s unfair and atypical nomination process speaks for itself. Her disregard to Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s dying wish leads me to conclude she, like McConnell and Trump is all about their self interest, and not doing what is just. A person with integrity would not be a willing participant in such an unfair and deceptive process. 

Consider the late Senator John McCain and the stand he took against the unprecedented actions to appeal the Affordable Care Act. He was not for the ACA by any means, but he was vehemently against how McConnell and Trump breached Senate protocols prior to the vote taken on the floor. He knew it was morally wrong and grossly unfair, not only to the democrats, but to the integrity of traditional Senate process and customs. In the end, he took a stand and did the right thing – Amy Coney Barrett chose not to. Like Judge Judith Schienlin often says, “Now I know who I am dealing with.” 

An Open Letter to President George W. Bush: America Needs You

 

Dear President Bush,

I am writing you about a very serious issue our nation is currently facing. As you likely have surmised by looking at my blog I am not a Republican, but I hope you will continue to read what I have to say anyway. I personally feel it would be remiss of me not to write you, because too much is at stake here. If we were in any other situation with any other president, I would not have this daunting, unshakable need to contact you. 

Mr. President, for the first time in American history, our democracy is at stake. I know you realize this – by now you have to know this is true. There is no longer a need to second guess or contemplate if this is a possibility – it is here. The foundation leading to an autocratic state has already been laid by the Trump administration, and now it only requires reelecting Donald Trump to see it through fruition. 

Mr. President, you have seen the corruption in our federal government throughout this administration. Surely by now you know the Republican Party you once belong to has mutated and no longer exist. It has taken on a different life form and is barely recognizable today. There is a reason for this and you know exactly what it is.

 In August, your spokesperson, Freddy Ford stated you are remaining out of politics and I can certainly understand that. Nevertheless, last week you strayed from that position and public ally endorsed Susan Collins of Maine. This forthcoming election is no longer about being Democrat or Republican. It is no longer about the policies one agrees or disagrees with. With this upcoming election our very democracy is on the line.

If Donald Trump wins the election, the integrity of our democratic processes will be furthered crippled and face extinction. It will pose a grave threat to our democracy, or rather what remains of it. I’ve always wondered how autocratic leaders and nations rise into power; like Putin, Kim Jong-Un, Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini, etc. 

Now I can see there is actually a gradual process building up to a dictatorial state. It just does not spring into being overnight. If it had just transpired out of nowhere in the United States, it would be more recognizable and far easier to deal with. Incidentally, Donald Trump praised Putin and Kim Jong-Un in a rally in Des Moines, Iowa yesterday. The more ruthless the leader, the more he esteems him.

The Republican Senate has mutated, and is now exhibiting the same culture and aberrations endemic of the Trump Administration. Senators I would not even in my wildest imagination have stooped to enabling Trump and have assisted in the destruction of our constitutional process. There was one senator, however, who refused to be a willing participant in the profound abuse of congressional protocols. It was the late Senator John McCain.

I ask you to consider why Senator McCain voted against the repeal of the Affordable Care Act. John McCain was no proponent of the ACA, but he was against the unfair process led by Mitch McConnell that violated Senate procedures by the time the vote went to the floor. He voted “No” out of principle – for a higher good that superseded his political beliefs or stance on any given policy.

Today, there are mothers, fathers, daughters, sons, brothers, sisters, and babies dying every day, while our own president continues to pursue every avenue to downplay the virus. Now that Trump claims he has defeated the virus, he is projecting an image that Covid-19 is no big deal, as if everyone can overcome it. Tell that to the over 217,000+ Americans who have lost their lives in the last 7 months. Donald Trump has even made wearing a mask into a political statement, as if it is affront to his ego and presidency. This is not normal, this is not just political – this is evil. 

Despite our differences you and I worship the same God, and surely you know a great deal of these actions from the Trump Administration stems from the god of this world. Jesus Christ often stood up for others despite their involvement in acts He did not condone, because there was a higher principle and purpose involved despite their choices. Perhaps the most prominent instance involved the woman was going to be stoned for committing adultery.

I know you disagree with the Democratic Party on issues you feel very strongly about. But if our democracy continues to perish before our very eyes, you must realize your beliefs or positions are not safe either. Do you honestly believe Trump cares about either party agendas? The only thing Donald Trump cares about is himself and what is in it for him. Every single American’s freedom and rights regardless of political party is in jeopardy under the Trump administration.

I am talking about this collision course impacting our entire nation – our Constitution and the democratic processes we once held dear. The world from afar sees our transformation and the decline of America. This is solely to our own detriment. Our adversaries at this precise moment are taking advantage of this – and you know more than most this to be true. Our very way of life is at stake here. Mr. President; surely you have noted and seen the dictatorial process taking shape in the United States. 

I am asking you to think about what I am writing here to you today. The Republican Party you once knew will continue its' metamorphosis and reinvented itself if Trump remains in office four more years. I personally do not believe the Republican Party will ever rebound if this happen. I worry the same fate waits for America. What has happened to the Republican Senate? They have placed the needs of Donald Trump over their own constituents. They are impacting both democrats and republicans alike at the expense of the American people  

You have organizations like The Lincoln Project who recognizes this – they are Republicans fighting with all they have to keep our democracy alive. They are not democrats – they don’t align themselves with democratic positions on policy. They know the only way to get the Republican Party back to some form of normalcy, is to get Trump out of office before there is no turning back. The life of our democracy is dissipating from our very eyes.

I am asking you to please consider endorsing Joe Biden. I am afraid for the lives of my family and this country. I fear this will be the end of our democracy and we will continue on our course to become at autocratic nation. Look at the recent orchestrations to circumvent voting –  flat out blatant violations of the law. 

Look at the deliberate actions taken by the Trump administration to misrepresent the coronavirus. Look at the dictatorial actions to silence members on the Coronavirus Task Force from giving interviews to the American public. Look at the misuse of the White House to conduct campaign rallies. All of these things, and countless more I could name, are all the birth pains of a budding dictatorship.

This is not a normal time in our country, nor is this a typical election year. I hope you will give this letter due consideration. I am asking a lot from you, because a lot is at stake is here. You are the one person – the one person who by endorsing Joe Biden will make other fellow Republicans stop and take notice and say – “This is serious business here.” 

Your endorsement will clearly indicate there is something gravely wrong with our nation under the Trump administration. I believe it will be a wake-up call, and you will make a real difference. Your action will be just for a season in time. Isn’t that worth the attempt to save our democracy and this country? 

Only you can answer that question. You have the right to vote the way you want to, and it is just one more reason why I wrote this letter. I want us as Americans to retain our right to vote. I want for our vote to be counted and not thrown in the trash or a decoy drop off box only to be disposed of. I hope and pray you will think about this – that is all I can ask. Whatever you do, I wish you well. Thank you for the time you served our country as our president. 

Vice Presidential Debate Demonstrated Mike Pence is Much Like Donald Trump

The vice-presidential debate between Senator Kamala Harris and Mike Pence was rather lack luster. I’m of the opinion of some others – perhaps the fly won the debate. Seriously, I do believe Harris had a slight edge over Pence, and he seemed to be defensive despite his ever present poker face. I’ve wondered at times if this guy is made of Styrofoam - or worse…The one thing that stood out the most to me is this – Mike Pence is very much alike Donald Trump.

Under his tenure, Trump has crafted and molded his toy soldier into his image, and at times it seems Pence imitated some of his mannerism. Just like Donald Trump, Mike Pence’s proficiency to lie has exponentially increased as Trump’s right hand man. I’ve noticed this progression throughout the past 4 years, but not to extent the past 6 months and last night debate’s reflected. Pence’s ability to lie continuously demonstrates he is a person of low character. But then again, it is the number one requirement to be part of the Trump administration.

A day before the debate Mike Pence declared he did not wish to use a plexiglass shield separating him and Kamala Harris during the debate. That was his first Trumpism as it pertained to the debate itself. It was a lame, symbolic effort. The core of the message was tantamount to saying the coronavirus is being blown out of proportion and is nothing to worry about. Pence's strategy was endemic to Donald Trump's statement we should not be afraid of the coronavirus. Tell that to the families of the 212,000 + who lost a family member to Covid-19. Pence later recanted after he realized just how idiotic and how foolish he looked bucking up against the protective shields. 

Here are just a few of the lies from the debate between Pence and Harris; there are far too many to write about. He lied when he said the number of  hurricanes have not increased - scientists and meteorologists agree that climate change has resulted in more tropical storms. He never answered if he believed climate change was real and was the culprit behind the California wildfires and more hurricanes. He blamed those over the national parks and wildlife for mismanaging the California fires. For the record, the Trump administration does not acknowledge climate change is real.

Pence lied about the Affordable Care Act, and denied Trump said he was going to get rid of preexisting conditions. Trump clearly on camera have said he was going to get rid of Obamacare, which would affect over 20 million Americans, including those with preexisting conditions. Trump also said he was going to privatize Social Security. Pence flounder in his response to these questions, and like all the other questions surpassed his allotted time to speak. 

Mike Pence lied about the destruction of Isis – unfortunately Isis is alive and well thanks to Donald Trump throwing the Kurds, our allies under the bus. As a result, Isis is regrouping. Pence denied and lied about Trump calling our soldiers “losers” and “suckers.” He also lied about statements Trump made about John McCain. Some of Pence’s lies were clearly rehearsed to the point they seemed deliberately fitted in regardless of the question. This was especially the case when it came to questions regarding the coronavirus.

Just like Donald Trump, Pence lied in real time during the debate. He  accused Kamala Harris of saying the coronaviurs deaths and cases were high because the American people did not do what they were supposed to do. Harris never said that, and if you play back the tape you will clearly see he just fabricated the accusation out of thin air. She said the coronavirus deaths and cases were so high in America due to the Trump administration’s failed response to the coronavirus. Mike Pence also lied when confronted with Trump’s deliberate attempt to hide the coronavirus from the American people. Harris countered the fabrication in lieu of Bob Woodward’s tapes were Trump admitted to downplaying the virus. 

Just like Donald Trump did in the previous debate, Mike Pence throughout the debate did not answer the questions posed by the moderator Susan Page from USA Today. He dodged mostly all of the questions, albeit he is far more discreet than Trump was in his evasiveness. It is my guess this happened about 90% of the time; Pence’s answers were follow-ups to what Kamala Harris has said. Very rarely did he answer the question Page asked him, because he passed his time to respond by rebutting Kamala Harris’s responses. A great deal of time was Page trying to reel Pence in, but was unsuccessful. 

Just like Donald Trump, Mike Pence does not to respect women and sees them as being unequal and less than men. This appears undisputable as he disregarded Susan Page’s requests the entire night; despite her politely and professionally asking him to stop speaking. Not once – not one time did he ever comply with her initial request. Roll the tape and you will see - she had to ask him at a minimum at least 4-6 times every single time he spoke. He also interrupted Kamala Harris frequently, although not to the extent he did with Page. 

Just like Donald Trump, Mike Pence decided he too would shamelessly prostitute and use people in an effort to rattle his opponent. In 2016, Trump invited female accusers of Bill Clinton who alleged sexual impropriety towards them in the debate against Hillary Clinton. Pence followed suit, and chose to take advantage of the parents of Kayla Mueller, the young woman held in captivity and ultimately killed by Isis.

When I heard that Isis captured her, it grieved me because I knew they would kill her and there would be no negotiating with them. They are brutal, evil murderers without conscience. The implication behind Pence bringing Kayla’s parents to the debate as guest was for it to somehow convey Joe Biden was complicit in her death. Pence made sure no matter what, he would interject their presence in the audience into one of his debate answers. Pence took the low road – I am sure he did his “Boss” proud. 

Mike Pence’s overall viewpoint seemed indicative of another planet Earth I am not aware of existing in the outer reaches of our galaxy. It is ironic he accused Kamala Harris of not speaking facts, when virtually everything he said was blatantly opposed to what is known as common knowledge or undisputed facts. This was especially the case regarding his responses to questions about the coronavirus. Of course, the moderator could not get him to stop talking, just like Chris Wallace could not stop Trump. One reporter said it best, “Pence let his inner Trump shine through.”

Donald Trump Will Leave Walter Reed Hospital an Unchanged Man

 

For most people who have caught the coronavirus and experienced symptoms, their illness will likely have some sort impact on their life. They might be thankful to be alive, or they might learn a lesson about disregarding protocols that led to them catching Covid-19. They will hopefully have a heightened awareness about keeping those around them safe. For those who did not take the coronavirus seriously, they may now realize their selfish actions might have even led to another individual contracting the virus. This is the case for most people – with Donald Trump this is not going to happen.  

Donald Trump had not even been discharged from Walter Reed Hospital; when he came up with the brilliant idea to take a ride in order to wave at his supporters and inflate his pride. His narcissism could no longer be contained, and wanted to show the world how strong he is. Trump simply craves the adoration and accolades of his supporters as if it was some form of nourishment. The supporters, who were marching outside the hospital, belong to the same genre which he once declared in a meeting he did not want to shake their “disgusting hands.”  His supporters must think very little of themselves to stand by someone who has absolutely no respect for them, and is only using them for their votes. But that shame is on them.

Trump claims he really understands the coronavirus now – uh, I don’t think so. Trump tweeted, "I learned it by really going to school. This is the real school." Looks like he flunked out. Donald Trump is unable to think outside himself; this is why it is perilous to have a man like him as our president. This is way beyond partisan politics; it is a crisis for this country to have someone so unfit for the presidency. Having a true sociopath for president is bad enough; but you couple this with someone who is devoid of common sense and out of touch with reality, it is downright dangerous.  

Donald Trump did not give a rat’s rump if he infected the two Secret Service agents that drove him around. All he cared about was receiving an ego boost from his adoring fans (a.k.a. supporters). In order to secure that dose of adulation, Trump saw it potentially worth the lives of the two Secret Service agents. The two agents were outfitted with gowns and PPE equipment, but were still enclosed in a Chevy Suburban with two passengers - Donald Trump and Coivid-19. The agents are now quarantining. Trump had no regard for their welfare, and being a narcissistic sociopath he sees the Secret Service as an “extension” of himself. Their welfare is inconsequential to Donald Trump, which in truth that is his general stance for everyone who is in his life.  

Donald Trump was said to have become increasingly “concerned” about his image, and feared the media was portraying his condition as being worse than what he would like. He fails to realize this is actually a consequence from his less than forthright administration. In other words, since he’s been in office, everyone lies on a consistent basis to the point it is impossible to decipher truth from fiction. Prolific liar Kayleigh McEnany (who now has the coronavirus), William Barr, Mark Meadows, Mitch McConnell, and King Trump makes it impossible to know what to believe. There are way too many culprits in his administration to name.

Donald Trump made it clear when he boarded the Marine helicopter in route to the hospital he was still in charge. Trump would have to be crawling on all fours before he would relinquish command to Mike Pence, and I question he would even do so then. Mike Pence has diminished himself as a leader due to him acting more like a butler than a vice president. His level of “brown nosing” is truly appalling and demonstrates how he would be ineffective as president. Nevertheless, Trump still worried about being in charge.

I believe Trump became increasingly concerned about his symptoms on Friday after being diagnosed with the coronavirus. At one point someone said throughout the day he appeared more and more anxious. I cannot blame him for that; he and anyone who have Covid-19 should be concerned and cautious. It is hard to know the truth with this group, and I find myself speculating he requested to go to the hospital himself. Once he got there, however, he started contemplating whether or not he appeared weak and unhealthy to the American public. I believe Trump’s greatest fear in life is appearing weak – that matters more to him than anything else (other than himself).

The media is forced to speculate, but I have come to believe Donald Trump case is mild. Someone who has significant symptoms of Covid-19 would not be walking around and functioning like he has. I also do not believe they would they staged a press op of him riding in around in a vehicle to wave to enamored supporters if he was feeling poorly. 

It is hard for me to belabor the fact he was administered drugs and treatment normally reserved for the most seriously ill coronavirus patients. I can’t help but think of the many that died and needed those treatments far more than he did. I personally believe but can’t say definitively he requested those treatments, as oppose to Dr. Sean Conley or other doctors at Walter Reed. 

Conley is bought and paid for, so don’t expect to get any truth out of him. Some have concluded Trump taking these treatments is indicative of his condition being serious; however, I don’t think this is the case. I believe Trump may have insisted on receiving these treatments, and his doctors simply obliged him.  

For those who have lost loved ones to this horrible virus; I am deeply sorry for your loss. But it is imperative to lay the blame on exactly where it belongs, and that is Donald Trump’s failed response to the coronavirus. With the onset of the coronavirus in America, the Trump Administration should have been assisting our governors with the equipment and finances to adequately combat this virus. 

With what we now know, the coronavirus task force should had formed no later than November or December to adequately council and provide the data the states needed. Instead, Donald Trump downplayed the coronavirus and did his best to hide it from the American people, until he no longer could. In the beginning mistakes were made because no one really knew the full scope of what they were dealing with; including epidemiologists and scientists. Even today, there remain unknowns about Covid-19, and some experts have back tracked on things once declared as fact.

Don’t think for a second the doctors at Walter Reed Hospital were calling the shots. If they were, they are pretty sad group to allow a coronavirus patient to go on a “joy ride” to show off his stamina, and to seek admiration from his base. Trump feeds on others worshiping him (writing this brought me back to the time Trump’s cabinet went around the room, each member praising him). Talk about a high energy drain. The doctors should have never allowed this according to most medical experts; however, it is virtually impossible for anyone to control Donald Trump. 

I wonder about those who succumb to the virus, and whether their outcome would have been if they had available to them the treatments Trump received. What would have happened if they would had even received one treatment, as opposed of the three Donald Trump received. Every form of medication he received is typically reserved for the most severe cases. 

Before Trump left the hospital Monday evening, he tweeted "Don't be afraid of Covid. Don't let it dominate your life," As I said before, he will leave the hospital unchanged and will continue to downplay the virus. What a disparaging comment to make when so many have died from this deadly virus. Why would he ever make such an irresponsible, negligent statement, even after contracting the virus himself? I will tell you why -  he knows he failed America with his poor response to the coronavirus, and is the pivotal catalyst behind the death of over 210,000 Americans. Expect for him to just pick back up the way he left off, which is exactly what he is now doing. 

Donald Trump and Melania Trump Test Positive for Covid-19

 

I would imagine Trump won’t be calling the cornavirus a hoax anymore, although I would never rule it completely out. I am not surprised to learn that even after finding out Hope Hicks caught Covid-19, Trump continued with his regular schedule as planned. The CDC and NIH state if you have been around someone who has tested positive for the coronavirus, that you should quarantine yourself for at least 10 to 14 days. Trump chose not to. Of course the assumption is he caught the coronavirus from Hope Hicks, but it is possible he may have had it before she was diagnosed. 

Instead, he continued to meander around the country, and continued to  exposed more people to the coronavirus. So in essence everyone he was around on September 30, and from October 1-2 may be infected with Covid-19. Donald Trump is a sociopath, so we already knew he would not care whether or not he gives the coronavirus to anyone else. He certainly has shown no empathy for the over 210,000 Americans who have died, and he is now part of the 7.6 million cases within the United States. He should consider himself lucky that his case is mild, although in truth that could possibly change.

For those who saw Donald Trump during his campaign trip or attended his rally in Duluth, Minnesota; I will advise you to dismiss his statements the coronavirus is practically over. It is your choice to continue to believe his lies; but you should consider getting yourself tested. If you don’t care about yourself or others; I hope you will at least think of your family. You could give this virus to someone you love, and they could possibly die from it. Do you think you could live with that?

It is so tragic Trump supporters are unable to realize he has no respect for them or anyone else. At the very least after learning of Hope Hick’s contracting the virus, he should have canceled his upcoming engagements. Seriously, if the man said in front of everyone in a meeting, he does not want to shake your "disgusting hands," than I doubt anything will convince you that he does not care about you. You should think better of yourselves than to allow and stand by a president who demeans you, and is not even concerned about your welfare. Donald Trump has one concern – himself. 

Trump and others in administration flew to New Jersey Thursday to attend a fundraiser at his golf club in Bedminister. It was said he came in contact with many people throughout the day, and even hosted a round-table discussion with his campaign supporters. All of this knowing full well Hope Hicks had not only tested positive, but was ill with significant symptoms. It was unconscionable he did not cancel these events and quarantine, and instead chose to risk spreading Covid-19 to other individuals.

Even those in Trump’s inner circle and his administration sat on the knowledge Hope Hicks had tested positive. They did their best to conceal it from the public until it was no longer possible. Slate.com stated the following, “Press secretary Kayleigh McEnany, who was also on the plane to Minnesota with Hicks, held a briefing with reporters without wearing a mask as if nothing was wrong.” McEnany and other members in the administration have left the country in the dark about details of Trump’s condition today. I suspect this is likely at Trump’s request, because it is important to him not to appear “weak.” 

Wake up America! You cannot possibly believe this is right, unless you share the same sociopathic tendencies Donald Trump has. This man, who now has Covid-19 hid the coronavirus from the American people, until he could no longer hide it. Even as of this very week before he tested positive, he continues to downplay the deadly nature of the coronavirus and its’ significance. 

He continued to travel, knowing he was in very close contact with someone who had tested positive from Covid-19 before, Hope Hickes. However, there is a growing body of facts that are starting to indicate Trump may had contracted the virus during a White House Rose Garden ceremony for newly appointed nominee Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barret. Donald Trump will be fine – his symptoms are mild, and his trip to Walter Reed Hospital is just precautionary. Trump has summoned all possible treatments available to be at his disposal; even treatments that have been reserved for the most severe cases. There is only one life Trump fears for, and that is his own. 

From the very beginning which has been validated by Bob Woodward’s tapes, Donald Trump has downplayed the coronavirus. When it first hit the United States he did his best to hide it from the American people. He minimized the danger, at one point stated it would only infect like 5 people or so, and than just disappear.  He encouraged others not to wear masks, and continued to have rallies and events without social distancing. It is ironic his very stance and lack of protocol on a daily basis led to Donald Trump catching Covid-19 himself. 

Since Donald Trump been diagnosed with the coronairus he has moved heaven and earth to acquire everything possible to treat his condition. Donald Trump received top notch medical treatment one day after founding out he tested positive for the coronavirus. Prior to Thursday, it has been said Trump tested 3 times a day at a minimum since the pandemic started in America. He also received an experimental polyclonal antibody cocktail yesterday from Regeneron Pharmaceuticals. He is now receiving the drug Remdesivir at Walter Reed Hospital. Both the antibody drug from Regeneron and Remdesivir have been used only in severe cases - until now.

Scientist and epidemiologist are now estimating that 85%-90% of the people who died from the coronavirus in the U.S. would still be alive today if Trump had not concealed and downplayed the coronavirus to the American people. If only Donald Trump had endeavor with even a ¼ of the sense of urgency he has for himself, and granted that disposition to the Americans who have succumb to the coronavirus. If he only he would had equipped the governors of each state and had provided federal testing, PPE, and other resources starting in March, the trajectory of the virus would be much different than what it is today. It would have literally saved well over a 180,000 lives and likely more.

And so you have it – a self-declared god does not have to play by the rules. The debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden was a circus – a flat out disaster. It reminded me of when you have a poor connection with a video or something you’re watching on a television and the sound and picture weaves in and out. It was not a real debate; it was the oratory of one –a self-appointed god by the name of Donald Trump. It was not Chris Wallace and Joe Biden’s fault; they were made privy to an unhinged lunatic who just happens to be the president of the United States.

Donald Trump boasted at one time he was the “chosen one;” the pivotal question is the chosen one of who or what? Because I stand before God this very moment and tell you unequivocally God did not choose him. God does not author evil. That leaves only one power left - Satan. Jesus said you will recognize them by their fruits, and Trump’s fruit is putrid, rotten, and rancid beyond recognition.

Donald Trump is indeed the chosen one – the chosen one to divide America, and lead us down a path of destruction. He and the Republican Senate who enables him, is the mechanism behind what is rapidly destroying our democracy. By now if you can’t see that, it is simply because you just don’t want to. Whether you are a Republican, Democrat, or Independent, this should deeply concern you.

The debate clearly showcased the monster the Trump Administration and the Republican Senate has created – the new and unimproved Donald Trump. Through the process of fruition and nurturing a depraved, pathological liar and narcissist, you can thank the Republican Senate for their creation of this nightmare president. Trump has to take blame for his actions, and he is by all counts the one ultimately at fault. But this crazy display the world witnessed while watching the debate, is the manifestation of Trump having four years going unchecked and not being held responsible for anything. Compare the vibrato of Trump debating Hillary Clinton, and this off the chart lunatic fringe show Tuesday night, and there is the proof. 

At times I feel like I have been transported to a different dimension or place in time – a double dose of the Twilight Zone. The debate Tuesday night took on a surreal quality in my mind, and it just did not seem real. Even calling it a circus does not do it justice. How have our nation declined to this point? How can the United States of America have a president like Donald J. Trump? The pertinent question is why are we allowing this? No wonder the rest of the world thinks of America as a joke now and I don’t blame them. Throughout history have you ever seen any other president or in any person in a governmental capacity throughout this entire world behave as immature and reckless as Donald Trump?

Putting all the other candidates aside for now, including Biden, I fail to understand why someone this depraved, idiotic, and lacking knowledge can be seen as being fit for office. A man with the blood of over 205,000 Americans on his hands is not even being held accountable. If only he had provided a federal response to the coronavirus, as oppose to suppressing and hiding the truth from us, we would be in a very different place today. 

We are not talking about a reality show here; this is our country with real consequences at stake. This man is out of control and he is a danger to our nation. Trump’s base does not realize the grave danger we are in. The Republican Senate on the other hand, have taken that risk and gambled to our own detriment.

Donald Trump cannot contain himself – I don’t care what the situation is. It is vital to have a president who does not come unglued and can keep his temper in check to some degree. Trump is incapable of doing this. Trump does not care about anyone other than himself, and he does not care whether he goes postal in a debate, or if it’s while discussing something with foreign leaders. It becomes more and more apparent every day why he is so attracted to dictators and autocratic leaders – because he is one.

Trump is the kind of man if he was attending a funeral and the person officiating the funeral said something he did not like; he will yell out his retort in the crowd. After all, he is a sociopath. He has no concept of boundaries in any given situation. He disregards social norms, and it likely contributes to him feeling free enough to sexually assault women on a whim. He bragged of his favorite tactic, “Grab them by the pu—y on the Hollywood Access Tape with unabashed shamelessness. He is openly vulgar and vile, without any shame or decency, and that is how he operates in any given situation. 

Yes, the Republican Senate can stand up and take a bow for this deranged Godzilla they have created. I blame them more than I do Trump – because despite Trump’s delusional fantasies of his godhood – he would be nowhere today without the Republican Senate. So Mitch McConnell, stand up and take a bow, for our illustrious poor excuse of a president. You too, Lindsey Graham, Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, and many more – your “handiwork” was so ever represented during the debate. This is your creation – and I hold each and every one of you responsible.

The debate took two hours of my life I can’t get back, and I believe most people who were actually interested in the debate feel the same way. Trump’s base with their taste for blood liked it, and they no doubt will probably be the only ones. His Republican Senate cheerleaders raised their pompoms with praise, and patted him on his back. They love to dole out illegitimate praise to Trump, and they roll over so he will rub their tummies and give them a dog chew. But I don’t’ see how any one in their right mind could see that debate as anything other than a fiasco and just crazy.

The spineless Republican Senate is raving to him how good a job he did, because they are scared to death of him. Why reelect senators who are cowards? When Rand Paul ran against Trump is 2016, he called Trump a clown. How is it now he licks and kisses Trump’s toes? Look at Ted Cruz; didn’t even have the honor or courage to defend his own wife when Trump badmouthed her appearance. That is something I will never forget - it is unprecedented for a man not to even defend his own wife! Donald Trump must have something pretty juicy on Cruz, and this is indeed the way Trump operates.

Yes, Trump is the problem, but the Republican Senate is just as big of a problem. Their primary motive for backing Trump is they are able to pull the wool over his eyes, and get what they want done without his interference. Donald Trump is not intelligent enough to discern they are using him. They have been able to cheat, lie, and hide their agenda in ways they would not be able to do so with a “normal” Republican president. I’m sorry; I just don’t know any other way to put it. Given this fact and considering they are frightened of him – they do not have America’s best interest at heart.

Same with Vladymir Putin except he does not fear Trump at all – Trump is their unwitting idiot and they aim to keep it that way. Putin is able to accomplish most of his goals under the radar with Trump, like hiring mercenaries in Afghanistan to kill U.S. soldiers. Donald Trump who thinks those who serve in our military and our veterans are “suckers” and “losers” didn’t even bother to confront Putin, despite of overwhelming evidence. This is the kind of a man the Republican Senate is supporting. 

Donald Trump and the Republican Party – please do not waste America’s time anymore. I appeal to the sponsor of the debate, The Commission on Presidential Debates, to preserve the integrity of the debate process and cancel the two subsequent debates that are slated to take place. There is no need for a second debate when we never even had a real first debate. Trump ignored Chris Wallace, the moderator, and talked over him and Biden the entire time. He was not even willing to behave like a rational human being long enough to debate his views with Biden.

A second and third debate would be pointless. The monster is fully cooked, and Trump is not going to change. With a man who is unhinged and disrespectful to the process as he, it is futile to have another debate. The spectacle (debate) would be dubbed, “American Circus Act – Part II.” Quite frankly it is insulting to disrespect the American people and our political processes as Trump has done. Donald Trump's behavior during the debate on Tuesday fits the true definition of shamelessness.
