The tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs, and explosions, and fallout. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, prejudices, to be found only in the minds of men. Rod Sterling
I hate to say it, but I told you so. That’s why I wrote the article “Don’t Let Donald Trump and the Republican Senate Take Away Our Right to Vote” back in September. On Saturday, Donald Trump called Governor Brian Kemp and asked him to undo the electoral votes in Georgia. He specifically urged Kemp to stop the electors who are set to vote on December 14, and replaced them with people who would vote for him instead.
Kemp refused to call a special legislative session to appoint 16 new electors to vote for Trump. To do so would be a violation of state law, not to mention how blatantly unethical such a stunt would be. It surprised me because I did not believe Brian Kemp had it in him to do the right thing. But he knew it was illegal, whereas Donald Trump could care less. Georgia’s Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, who voted for Trump, said to appoint other electors would go against the will of the people.
On Sunday, December 6, Gov. Brian Kemp and Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan, issued the following statement, “Any attempt by the legislature to retroactively change that process for the November 3rd election would be unconstitutional and immediately enjoined by the courts, resulting in a long legal dispute and no short-term resolution.” A high strung Trump spoke for several hours with Kemp on Saturday. Trump is always worried about appearing weak, but I don’t think he has ever appeared weaker by reacting as he has from losing the election.
I wrote about this before the election even occurred, because I recognize Donald Trump for the fraud he is. I know how he operates. He is a psychologically disturbed individual (a sociopath) with no conscience, and he is corrupt to the core. I can't take credit for this prediction; a good number of people suspected he would take this route before I did. Never put anything pass Donald Trump; the potential always exist for him to go lower than one even dream it’s possible.
Trump can actually be predictable at times. One thing that aids in his predictability is the fact he will always take the low road – nothing is off limits for him. This attempt to circumvent the election is a crime that should not be shrugged off. Trump’s actions undermine our entire democracy, and he should be charged both on a federal and state level for interfering with the results of a presidential election.
Trump is the only source of voter fraud. This is the way the mafia works – it should not be the way a president of the United States operates. Joe Biden defeated Trump by over 7 million popular votes. Ronald Reagan, George Bush Sr., George Bush, Jr., and Hillary Clinton accepted their defeats like a normal person and with grace. Donald Trump, however, is a mentally impaired man; he is hands down the poorest loser in the history of America. But he is far more problematic than just being a sore loser.
As ironic as this sound, only someone gravely insecure would resort to such measures after losing an election. Only a weak person who is a coward would react so desperately and to the extremes Trump has. Donald Trump defines himself by his adoring fans – they are more like fans than constituents in my opinion. In truth, it is almost like he has a cult following in some ways. I am stumped as to why.
Trump fears appearing weak more than anything else in this world – he feels he must win. His ego will not permit him to do otherwise. After all, he invested some much time and energy to sabotage the election. The only way for Trump to save face is to assert himself in the role of a victim, by falsely claiming the election was a fraud. Donald J. Trump will never concede and will never admit defeat. He never has and he never will.
Trump has propagated numerous lies about election fraud, and many in his base believe him. I think Republicans outside his core base may not buy it, but they are willing to go along for the ride. It seems like “corruption” is in “vogue” these days. Ask the Republican Senate – they are part of the charade.
The ramifications from Trump’s false claims are catastrophic for the integrity of our American democracy. Voters have lost faith in our election system which can solely attributed to his lies about the election being rigged. It is unfathomable the self-centered needs of one man have resulted in so much irreparable harm to our democracy.
Trump on Sunday tweeted the following: “Has anyone informed the so-called (says he has no power to do anything!) Governor @BrianKempGA & his puppet Lt. Governor @GeoffDuncanGA, that they could easily solve this mess, & WIN. Signature verification & call a Special Session. So easy!”
Can you imagine when Jimmy Carter and George Bush Sr. lost their elections, if they would had went around like maniacs accusing different states of election fraud? What about John McCain? What if when he lost to President Barack Obama, if he went around claiming there was widespread voter fraud in the election? John McCain would never assault our democracy like Donald Trump has. No other president would engage in such self-serving reckless behavior at the expense of our country.
I have no respect for John Kelly anymore; not after he was willing to prostitute himself in order to please his pimp, Donald Trump. But he did say one thing I wholeheartedly agree with. He said, "The depths of his dishonesty is just astounding to me. The dishonesty, the transactional nature of every relationship, though it's more pathetic than anything else. He is the most flawed person I have ever met in my life." There is nothing inside the shell of Donald Trump other than lies, corruption, hate, and self-interest.
Donald Trump will never stop his despicable efforts to commit fraud and cast doubt on this presidential election. Maybe if the election really was a fraud, then those Republicans who were elected should not have won either. Trump fired Republican Chris Krebs, head of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, which oversaw the cybersecurity of the elections. Krebs stated there was no voter fraud found; in fact, he said it was the most secure election in American history. Trump fired him in a tweet because Krebs certification went against Trump’s plot to undermine the election.
Court case after court case, Donald Trump’s con man lawyer, Rudolph Giuliani entertains the court with farts and frivolous allegations claiming election fraud. These court cases have become like a revolving door, with no end in sight; one thrown out after another. Ironically, all of these lawsuits have cast attention not only on how crooked Trump is, but just how badly he lost the election. It’s a pathetic display of one desperate man.
There is one thing, however, that has panned out in Trump’s favor. As he begs for alms at the door from his base, they are pumping lots of cash into his new and shiny website. Donald Trump has immediately set up his prostitution ring online, asking for money to fund his efforts in contesting the election in court. It's paid off - 207+ million so far. He has raised more money than he even had for his campaign. What’s nifty for Trump, he can use this money for whatever he wants; new golf clubs, cheeseburgers, or perhaps even to pay his taxes (not likely). One thing for sure, he will not leave the Oval Office broke.
Donald Trump is demonstrating just how weak he really is. To see a president act like this, is appalling and repugnant. He is innately vulgar; his desperation is on display for the entire world to see. He does not give a rip about committing one crime after another, or bottle-necking the courts. His actions bring to mind of an image of baby defecating in his diapers; screaming and kicking his legs in the air. He is delirious and discombobulated from losing the election - he has is now in the Twilight Zone.
